Assistant holt

Shelley Davis, Principal

I am absolutely thrilled and honored to step into the role of principal at Clover Hill! This year marks my 16th year in education and my 8th year serving in Chesterfield County Public Schools. My journey has taken me from classrooms in New Jersey and Alabama to right here in CCPS, where I’ve had the privilege of serving as a teacher at Winterpock Elementary, a Dean of Students and Coordinator of Assessment & Remediation at Salem Church Middle, and most recently, as the Assistant Principal at Ecoff Elementary.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in History and Africana Studies from Rutgers University (RU Rah Rah!) and earned my Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Seton Hall University in 2014.

I firmly believe that it takes a whole village to raise a child, and that each and every student has a unique voice that deserves to be heard and valued.

As your principal, my goal is to ensure our "village" works together to create a safe, supportive, and high-achieving environment where every child can thrive.

When I'm not at school, I am usually reading, traveling with my family, or sitting on the sidelines and in the audience cheering on my own children at their sports games and stage performances.

I am so excited to partner with you all for an incredible school year ahead. Please feel free to reach out and introduce yourself – my door is always open!

Shelby Bartilotti, Assistant Principal

Hi Clover Hill Families,

My name is Shelby Bartilotti, and I am so excited to be serving as one of our Assistant Principals again this school year. I am a product of Chesterfield County, graduating from Thomas Dale High School. After graduating from college, I felt the drive to return and work for the community I grew up in. I currently live with my husband Tim, our daughter Millie, and our dog, Waffle (who is QUITE the personality) in Chesterfield County. In my spare time, I enjoy all things Notre Dame and Bills football, Taylor Swift, and trivia nights. My last experiences working in Chesterfield County Public Schools have reinforced what an excellent decision it was to return home.

From my role as a special education teacher to serving as an Assistant Principal, I have recognized two things. First, every single child is capable of amazing growth and success, and second, our families are the experts on their children. When families and schools are able to come together in equal partnership, our children excel. We can work together to empower our students to meet their full potential through open communication, trust, and reaching a common goal. As we forge ahead for the upcoming school year, I would love to work collaboratively to instill a growth mindset in each child, prepare each child to be global citizens, and ensure that they are ready to create a better tomorrow.

Driven by the core belief that Clover Hill students are capable, caring, and leaders, this school community can achieve this by focusing on all the opportunities our students have to capitalize on their development. I am available via email at shelby_bartilotti@ccpsnet.net or by phone at 804-739-6220. I am so excited to serve this community where our staff, students, and families LEAD with PRIDE!
